Unlike other shops, Rad Air managers are experienced, certified automotive technicians and not salespeople. They have the experience and know-how under the hood to help explain your vehicle’s systems, repairs, and maintenance services to you.
All Rad Air technicians undergo regular, paid-for certification and training on a regular basis. In addition to trainings by car and parts manufacturers, our technicians not only receive the same training as the technicians at dealership service departments, but we also frequently bring in industry experts to train our staff in-house. Rad Air’s family of repair shops are also trained and qualified to maintain, service, and repair hybrid and electric vehicles.
Additionally, our staff is committed to the health and safety of our clients, employees, and the community. For this reason, Rad Air adheres to a self-imposed and detailed Environmental and EPA Compliance Policy to regulate the use of oils, contaminants, and the hazardous procedures and materials used in the auto repair business.

At the age of six, Andy began working on cars with his father, a former Army mechanic. Andy’s dad taught him to fix each vehicle correctly the first time. Since then, he has dedicated his life to providing expert auto repairs to his clients and helping them make wise repair decisions. Andy can be found at any one of Rad Air’s ten locations on a regular basis providing assistance and training to Rad Air employees. In 2011, Motor Age Magazine named Rad Air Complete Car Care as the #1 automotive repair shop in the USA and has included us annually in their list of the top 10 shops in the USA since 2010.
Bill grew up in Mentor, and after school, you’d find him and his friends working on cars in his driveway. As time went on, he started working on motorcycles in his parents’ garage and then started working with race cars.
Bill loves Cleveland and stayed home to attend Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University. He joined Rad Air to connect his passions of helping people and being around cars.
Today, he oversees our marketing programs and enjoys getting involved in the neighborhoods that we serve.
One of Bill’s passions is getting today’s youth excited about careers in our industry, and in 2020, he created the Rad Air Rising Stars Racing program at the Painesville Speedway that not only gets students aged 12-16 behind the wheel of a race car, but also gets high school students connected with local businesses to gain valuable, hands-on experience.
