Your vehicle’s heating and cooling system relies on permanent coolant, which you may refer to as antifreeze, to operate. Permanent coolant has a higher boiling point than water and helps protect your vehicle from overheating. Depending on the make and model of your vehicle, we generally recommend having the entire system serviced every 30,000 to 50,000 miles—or 3 to 5 years—or as needed.
