The Automotive Apprentice role at Rad Air is designed to provide a learning environment for an individual to develop his or her automotive service and repair skills and advance within the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with automotive-related services and repairs.
- Maintain a clean shop environment in accordance with Rad Air standards.
- Attend training and development classes as assigned.
- Work with an assigned shop mentor on a long term training and development plan.
- Attain quarterly learning goals as assigned.
Following The First Year of Employment, Our Apprentices Will be Able to:
- Properly and safely set vehicles on lifts.
- Perform a Digital Vehicle Inspection.
- Perform an oil change.
- Rotate, mount, and balance tires.
- Test batteries and alternators.
- Install batteries.
- Replace wiper blades.
- Replace light bulbs.
Required Qualifications:
- Clean driving record
- Courteous and professional attitude towards employees, clients, and vendors
- Willingness to stay up to date and receive training on latest technologies
