June’s Rad Ride belongs to Tony De Luca of Richfield, Ohio. Tony first brought his beautiful orange Mustang to the Fairlawn Rad Air shortly after he purchased the vehicle. Tony bought the car new in 2007 as a fun car for his family to enjoy during the summer months. The Mustang was purchased with a V-6 Pony Package which includes a GT-style grille and fog lamps, a lower door stripe with embossed lettering and the pony logo featured throughout the vehicle and on the wheels. The car has a somewhat vintage appearance due to the chrome-ringed air vents and a three-spoke steering wheel which was standard on the 1967 model. You cannot miss the color; called Grabber Orange, this bright hue was newly available on 2007 models which also adds to the car’s vintage feel.
Tony brought the car to Dave at the Fairlawn location after damaging a front wheel while driving his family to dinner in Cleveland’s Little Italy neighborhood. The damage left them stranded on the road, but a quick tire change had them up and running in no time. Tony’s family Mustang is in excellent condition despite the many people who drive it. Tony is taking home a free lube, oil and filter change with tire rotation and safety inspection for being our Rad Ride for the month of June!
We love seeing vintage and collector’s cars during the summertime! Do you have a vehicle that is special to you? Send us a picture and tell us why by e-mailing radrides@radair.com!
