The Cleveland Better Business Bureau will host its annual Secure Your ID Day at the new Rad Air location in Lorain.  The event offers on-the-spot document shredding and recycling free of charge to help the public protect against identity theft and fraud.  Shredding services are provided by All Ohio Secure Shred who will be on site with large shredding trucks.

More than 8 million people became the victim of identity theft in 2011.  Shredding old documents with sensitive information is one of the best ways to protect personal information.  Additionally, the BBB is collecting old cell phones to donate to Verizon Hopeline, an organization which provides cell phones to victims of domestic violence.  Verizon Hopeline removes all information from the old phones and refurbishes them before donating them to victims.  Representatives from Rad Air the BBB will be on site handing out resources, giveaways, coupons & more.

The Rad Air on Leavitt Road is on the side of K-Mart at the corner of Leavitt Road and Cooper Foster Road in Lorain, Ohio.
