Mike Barran, of Brookpark, Ohio, is our technician of the month! He is one of the Master Technicians at the Westlake location. He joined the Rad Air team just after the doors opened in Westlake ten years ago. Learn more about Mike by reading below!
Mike’s love of cars is in his blood. His dad raced cars for fun during the 1970s at Cloverleaf Raceway which was open from 1960-1990 in Valley View, Ohio.
When he was a child, Mike spent his weekends going to the racetrack with his dad and grandfather to watch the races. When he was older, Mike started dragracing with a travelling race team.
Later Mike decided to leave the team and work on his 1985 Camaro which he turned into a racecar with 3000 horsepower.
He is a graduate of Holy Name High School in Parma Heights, Ohio and later graduated from the Tri-C automotive program. He enjoyed school and considers himself a history buff.
Mike has one brother and two sisters. His nieces and nephews know him as their crazy uncle!
Mike also regularly volunteers and donates to local animal shelters. An animal lover, he has one dog named Maverick.
His favorite food is chocolate and never hesitates to indulge in his favorite dessert, a hot fudge sundae!
Mike is a Master Technician and holds all ASE certifications for automotive repair.
His favorite part about working on cars is building relationships with his clients. He feels humbled and proud they trust him with their car.
Finally, Mike’s favorite part about working with Dino and the team at Rad Air Westlake is the family atmosphere. He calls his coworkers his brothers.
