Congratulations to Jim Youngless of Carlisle Township, Ohio. Jim joined the Lorain Rad Air team in 2013 and quickly became an asset to our group! Learn more about the man under the hood:
- Jim grew up in Amherst, Ohio and is a graduate of Firelands High School where he was a dedicated athlete.
- When he is not at the Lorain Rad Air, Jim is coaching soccer & wrestling. He coaches for the Vermilion travel soccer team.
- Jim started working on cars at the age of 20 when he realized he had a natural gift & enjoyed his work.
- Although Jim has been an ASE-certified Master Mechanic for 16 years, Jim is self-taught. He assigned his own readings, took advantage of training programs and learned on the job.
- When he has the opportunity, Jim loves to go perch & walleye fishing and has restored two vintage boats.
- His favorite band is Widespread Panic. He looks forward to traveling to see them once a year!
- Jim is known for being serious about his work, working hard and getting the job done. Shhhh secretly, he loves to make people laugh.
- His favorite thing about his job is being involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the shop.
- If you stop by the shop, help yourself to the hot pot of coffee – Jim makes sure his clients always have access to a fresh brew!
- He has two best friends under the age of ten: his 8-year-old Chocolate Lab, Gunner & his 7-year-old stepson.
