Stay Safe on Spring Roads

The snow and ice may have melted away, but spring roads can still be slick! The Greater Cleveland and Akron areas often see plenty of rain during the spring and summer. According to the AAA, wet pavement contributes to 1.2 million traffic crashes each year. Here is how you can make sure you stay safe on the road during spring showers:

See & Be Seen

Make sure your lights are working well & replace your windshield wipers.

Get a Grip

Make sure your tires are properly inflated, are in good condition, and have adequate tread depth.

Avoid Cruise Control

Cruise Control is best used in dry conditions.

Slow Down

Reduce the risk of hydroplaning by slowing down & leaving distance between you and the car in front of you.

Brake Carefully

Avoid sharp braking, turning and movements on the road.
