Our new client William was traveling from Detroit to Maine and was under a tight schedule. When his car broke down in Cleveland at the East 9th exit on Interstate 71, he contacted his Roadside Assistance provider. They contacted us and we were happy to get his car towed over to our shop immediately.
William worked for General Motors in Detroit for more than 30 years and is the original owner of this 1968 Chevy Impala he drove off the showroom floor the same year. The car is in beautiful condition and has all original parts.
At the Downtown Cleveland Rad Air, William’s car received a complete tune-up which included work performed on the distributor cap, rotor, ignition points and condenser, ignition wires, spark plugs and carburetor. Now the car runs like a wrist watch! He trusted us to keep his vehicle while he rented a car from Enterprise and continued on his journey to Maine. His son drove up to take the car home and will keep an eye on it until William is ready to take it to his new home in Maine.
While auto breakdowns are never a fun experience, we often get to meet great people with unique cars. Thank you to Enterprise in Downtown Cleveland who provided William with a ride to the east coast and to Rich’s Towing and Haggerty Roadside Assistance for introducing us. Most importantly, thanks to William for the opportunity to work on your car! We had a lot of admirers stop by the shop to take a look!
