To Spend Or Not To Spend? Which Car Part Is Right For Me?

August 16, 2017

Pro-Tip:   The car part with the highest price tag isn’t always the best choice for you!

To spend or not to spend?  That is the question we are faced with each time we have to make a decision on which car part will work best for us.  At Rad Air our goal isn’t to recommend the part with the highest price tag.  As Andy Fiffick of Rad Air explains in this video, sometimes it makes sense to avoid the higher price tag and go with a part that has the same quality plus some long-term benefits!

Just because it has the manufacturer’s logo on the box doesn’t mean it is higher quality.

Often times there are other car part brands that offer the same quality, and often a longer warranty!   It’s not uncommon for another manufacturer to offer a lifetime warranty when the OEM might offer one that lasts only a year or two.

Sometimes the difference between a “high end” car part and a less expensive option is a dollar or less.

That is money well spent.  In this case it’s usually better to pay a few extra bucks and get the peace of mind that comes with the better automotive part option.
