Creating a Vision Board for Car Maintenance

Vehicle vision board

2020 is the Year of Vision

That includes a vision to keep your car running smoothly.

It seems like everyone has a side hustle nowadays. On social media platforms, you might see friends hawking everything from lotions and beauty products to leggings to timeshares. Our society has never been more enterprising, and Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are proof of it. Everyone has a live seminar about how you can use tried-and-true business tactics to propel your income to the next level. Among those techniques is the vision board. A vision board is a mixed media poster that usually contains words cut out of a magazine and placed in a collage to capture goals one might have for themselves or their business in the future. They might be words like “fame” or “fortune.” They might be more spiritual words like “awareness” or “enlightenment,” or they could be emotional cues like “happy” or “content.” Whatever path the creator of the board takes, vision boards are known to be great motivational tools to inspire success. In a 2016 survey, it was reported that 67% of entrepreneurs who were interviewed believed that visualizing their goals will help them achieve those goals (Forbes).

If it works for business, why wouldn’t it work for your car goals? Is this the year that you are going to take better care of your vehicle? Are you trying to get a few more years out of your current vehicle so you can replace it with the one you really want? If so, let’s make your vision become clear with some vision board material for your Cleveland vehicle maintenance goals.

Ignition

You can’t go anywhere if your starter isn’t working! Clean the connectors, make sure the mounting bolts are tight, and clean the terminals. These are all things that Rad Air can help you with if you are currently having issues with your starter!

Maintain

You can’t ignore your car until there are issues surfacing. Vehicle health is largely determined by how well you take care of your vehicle when it appears to be running perfectly! Check your vehicle’s manual to see when your manufacturer suggests that you get your oil changed, but we suggest at least every 5,000 miles if you are running on synthetic motor oil.

Tires

Tire health can impact vehicle safety as well as performance. You don’t want to wait until you are on the side of the road with a blow out to get your tires changed. Check tread depth and wear often to ensure that you aren’t riding on risky tires

Recharge

Battery health is important because if a battery runs down while you are away from home, you’ll be stranded until someone rescues you. Inspect your battery often to ensure that you aren’t left helpless with a dead battery.

Stop

Such a simple word, but as much as we want our car to go, we need equal parts of “stop” in order to travel safely, and that is the responsibility of our brakes. You need to check your pads for wear and tear. As a general rule, you’ll get about 50,000 miles out of your brakes, so every oil change, you should have your car care professional check your brakes to see if it’s time.

Your vision for personal and business success in 2020 might depend heavily on the success of your vehicle. If it breaks down and can’t get you where you need to be, then chances are you won’t be able to achieve your vision. Let the pros at Rad Air keep your car running smoothly all year long!
