Now in its 15th year, Brakes for Breasts offers a simple, impactful way for drivers to support breast cancer research during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October—while also staying safe on the road.
Brakes for Breasts is a nationwide charitable initiative that gives back during the month of October by offering free brake pads to customers while donating a portion of brake service proceeds to breast cancer vaccine research.

The Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund directly supports the work of Dr. Vincent Tuohy, whose groundbreaking research is focused on preventing breast cancer before it ever develops. This approach shifts the focus from treatment to prevention—a game-changing effort in the fight against a disease that impacts so many lives.
Dr. Tuohy’s work represents hope for a future in which women and men can receive a vaccine to protect against the most common types of breast cancer—before they ever become a threat.
